Solitary tear
I leave with a heavy laden heart
I fight back the tears as I part
I struggle to put on a smile
To hide my heart's broken shards
My feet feel like stone as I leave
My soul finds no reprieve
Bite my lips as I walk away
My sadness cannot be relieved
Hours, they turn to months
My heart's load turns into tonnes
Solitary tear seeps out of my eye
As I reminisce what I had once
"Just walk on" I urge my flesh
No need to make decisions rash
Its too late, what's done is done
I can't save what's already crashed
