Charlatan's Pond
I’m not ok. Everyone knows that.
“Friends” who stab you in the back,
hit me in the head with a baseball bat,
Spread lies and criticising me.
I'm more than fine about all that,
I'll smile at their faces bloodily.
Knowing small fish seem big in a small charlatan's pond.
Waiting for the day they come and play in my ocean's lawn.
With the same bloody smile, I lose a battle, win the war.
I’ll say to them “welcome to the ocean.”
Then we’ll even the score.
“Our battle is not against flesh and blood!”
In their despair, they fraudulently cry.
And I can’t help but feel a tinge of sadness
for these deluded charlatan minds.
It'll always be a battle to them but only if they win.
And when they can't, they say it's not, condemn the other's sin
Still I put on that bloody smile like I did before
“Come and play in my ocean.”
Then we’ll even the score.
yes. then we'll even the score.
