Half-packed up finally with the help of blood
Big half-crammed suitcase lying on the floor
Tinges of excitement semi-fill my heart
25 more days, already one foot out the door
Lay myself to rest on my half-occupied bed
And I stare at nothing, half-smiling at the wall
Plans for what else to pack jam up half my head
Maybe, just maybe, I might enjoy this after all
